I had been thinking about getting one of these since I got my MBP last year. I was on the fence until I met some else who had one. I got it about a week ago and am very impressed so far.

The fit on my laptop is perfect. It lines up with the edges perfectly and does not not block any of the ports. I have not seen any increase in heat.

It does add some weight to the laptop but it also makes the laptop feel more substantial. I have always felt nervous picking up the laptop by holding it between my fingers for fear I would dent the case or damage the screen. With the cover on it, I don't worry anymore.
