Most of this DVD content is not detailed in the HC1 manual, so you are far better off watching this DVD than bothering with the manual. It is a brilliant DVD for anyone who wants to make the most of this camera, and who doesn't yet have a crystal clear understanding on using the manual controls. It takes you step by step through the processs of changing settings on your HC1 and how to get better video. Best of all, Douglas Jensen explains things in a way which you will understand completely.
